The Project Manager (Facade) will be responsible for managing various project types including facade & roofing and FISP projects. This role involves executing and assisting on multiple projects through all project phases, from investigation and estimating to contract document preparation, bidding, analysis, negotiation, municipal filing, construction administration, and close-out, all while staying within budget. The position requires managing medium to large-scale projects under direct supervision, following operational standards, and coordinating all administrative and technical project efforts for efficient and cost-effective execution. The role also involves coordinating with Architects, Engineers, and Designers to maintain project quality, conducting design problem-solving, documentation, and field observations for smaller projects independently with senior team input, and preparing project documents such as meeting minutes, field reports, investigation reports, cost estimates, and project timelines. Maintaining positive client relationships, attending regular meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants, and ensuring adherence to project workplans are key. Proactive communication of any issues to senior team members is essential. The role also requires anticipating and troubleshooting project-specific problems, developing and implementing solutions, and staying current on New York City building codes, including awareness of historic building codes. Field work is expected to be between 25% - 75% of the time.
