About The Position

HealthPartners is hiring for a full-time Evaluation and Survey Project Manager. This role involves managing complex evaluation and survey projects, serving as a consultant and facilitator for areas requiring specific expertise. Responsibilities include managing projects within established operating budgets, coordinating and implementing recruitment and data collection (quantitative and qualitative), advising the project lead on protocol content and systems, and directing participating evaluation and survey staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health or other related field
  • Specialized training for the project-specific area(s) of expertise; i.e. some projects require experience implementing and analyzing qualitative data in the healthcare setting, survey design and/or study design.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience managing, implementing, and monitoring complex projects
  • Two years’ experience in indirect staff supervision
  • Demonstrated planning and management skills
  • Ability to adhere to a protocol but also to have sufficient flexibility and judgment to handle unforeseen situations that may arise
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability and comfort working with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of research and evaluation methods
  • Research, evaluation or survey-related work experience
  • Experience with survey development software packages, scanning systems and data collection
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and effective relationships with care provider and operations/support staff, participants, and outside funders and clients
  • Experience developing and maintaining computerized databases
  • Reliable transportation for travel to HealthPartners clinics and meeting sites

  • Masters degree in a health or other related field

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and management of multiple complex projects, acting as a liaison with clinic staff and internal/external departments, companies, and grant partners.
  • Development of detailed project plans, timetables, resource estimation, and tracking to meet deadlines.
  • Collaboration with internal and external sources to design documentation systems, forms, questionnaires, and surveys.
  • Implementation of study protocols and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Supervision of study staff, including hiring, training, and evaluation.
  • Allocation and coordination of resources, including maintaining project budgets.
  • Design and oversight of data collection processes, including developing and implementing methodology to assess data accuracy and completeness.
  • Documentation of data collection processes, meeting minutes, project progress, and decisions.
  • Conducting and managing qualitative data collection, including focus groups and semi-structured interviews, and analyzing results.
  • Management, implementation, and conduct of project interventions.
  • Creation of reports and performance of basic statistical analysis of results.
  • Significant contribution to periodic and final reports and deliverables for clients, funding agencies, and oversight organizations.
  • Development and participation in presentations.
  • Participation in writing of journal articles.
  • Participation in developing, writing, and editing of new proposal submissions.
  • Active participation in Center operations and other HealthPartners Institute activities.
  • Participation in the ongoing development and strategic direction of evaluation and survey services at HealthPartners Institute.
  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned.
