About The Position

The Project Manager, Engineering manages Product Supply Systems Canada facilities and capital equipment (Machinery & Equipment) projects cover the entire country. This role involves managing multi-year projects in any of the 5 manufacturing facilities, developing projects in collaboration with Plant and Engineering teams, and emphasizing the development and validation of scope, budget, timeline, and deliverables during planning and implementation phases. The position also requires providing expertise in equipment, machinery operation, water treatment operations, and syrup production to ensure operating efficiencies, creating equipment specifications, managing the supplier approval process, participating in bid reviews and vendor selection, and developing multi-year capital plans for assigned manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ project management experience
  • 8+ years of operations experience or maintenance preferred.
  • Technical expertise in facilities, processes and/or machinery utilized in the beverage industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset.
  • Experience in carbonated beverage industry experience is considered asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-year projects in any of the 5 manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop Projects in collaboration with the Plant and Engineering teams.
  • Development and validation of scope, budget, timeline and deliverables are heavily emphasized in the planning stages. Scope, budget and timeline are critical deliverables of the project implementation phases.
  • Provide expertise in equipment, machinery operation, water treatment operations, syrup production, etc. to ensure operating efficiencies at production sites.
  • Create equipment specifications and communicate them to manufacturers.
  • Manage the process for suppliers to be included on approved supplier list.
  • Participate in bid reviews and vendor selection.
  • Develop Multi-year capital plan for assigned manufacturing facilities in collaboration with the engineering and plant teams.
