Requirements

  • Engineering degree
  • 5-years project management experience preferable
  • Understands and has experience in capital assets management project for Nuclear Power Plants.
  • Experience of working closely with multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • The ability to understand clients’ requirements.
  • Ability to lead a delivery team in a positive and confident manner, demonstrating an appropriate level of knowledge, skills, and attitude.
  • An aptitude towards work winning through strong service delivery and understanding of bid process and different pricing models.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with sound business acumen and strong risk/commercial awareness to deliver profits.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and flexible working attitude, is adaptable and responds positively in response to challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe delivery of a portfolio of projects to agreed schedule, budget, scope, and quality and is responsible for the safety and welfare of staff working on the project.
  • Responsible for the successful technical and commercial delivery of the projects in accordance with AtkinsRéalis governance requirements.
  • Providing bid phase support as a Bid Manager on medium to small projects.
  • Delivery of project management and contract administration throughout projects life cycle.
  • Ensuring that there is a common understanding of requirements and scope, schedule, costs, constraints, risk and interfaces across the team.
  • Leading the project team – building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding, and developing the team.
  • Communicating, liaising, and engaging with clients on a project-by-project basis.
  • Deliver governance arrangements for projects within corporate and business policies, directives, guidance, and procedures to ensure a robust outcome.
  • Manage approved sub-contractor procurement processes.
  • Cognizant delivery of projects and tasks in accordance with the AtkinsRéalis Values; Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, and Innovation.
