About The Position

Venture Global LNG is seeking a senior professional to join us as an OFE (Owner Furnished Equipment) Project Manager for the Power Island equipment scope of supply. The Venture Global OFE team is responsible to ensure that the properly specified and configured Power Island, Pre-treatment and Liquefaction Equipment is delivered on-time. The Venture Global OFE team is also responsible for the performance, interface and correct functionality of the Power Island, Pre-treatment and Liquefaction Equipment. This position is located in Arlington, VA. This role blends project delivery, client partnership, and team leadership. The selected candidate will lead a portfolio of electric distribution and control design, utility interconnection control, and black start control projects to support multi facility LNG production. They will own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across multiple concurrent projects, serving as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating work across designers, engineers, and technical leads, overseeing project financials, ensuring work complies with industry standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory expectations, supporting permitting and third-party coordination efforts, and reviewing deliverables for quality and constructability. The role also involves providing construction support, mentoring technical leads, shaping program strategy, and supporting growth.

Requirements

  • Project management experience supporting electric distribution or utility infrastructure programs, or other engineering/construction related spaces
  • Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget in a consulting or utility‑facing environment
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with utility clients
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, potentially including leadership of other PMs.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and keep work moving in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Proficiency in forecasting and financial management
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and technical innovations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Construction Management degrees with applicable utility scale ED&C project experience will also be considered
  • 8+ years of relevant utility project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting electric distribution programs
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with large investor-owned electric utilities (IOU)
  • Familiarity with distribution design workflows, permitting, and construction support
  • Experience managing program‑based or unitized work
  • PMP or similar certification
  • D&C experience utilities strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support permitting and third‑party coordination efforts (municipalities, DOTs, joint‑use utilities) as needed
  • Review deliverables for quality and constructability before submittal
  • Provide construction support and help resolve design‑related issues during build
  • Mentor technical leads, help shape program strategy, and support growth
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of electric distribution projects
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across assigned workstreams
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and supplier stakeholders
  • Monitor supplier performance and project progress against plan
  • Support status reporting, forecasting, and executive updates
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations
  • Support field visits and site coordination activities as required
