About The Position

City Light & Power, Inc. (CLP) is seeking a Project Manager-Electrical for its Ft. Campbell, KY location. This role supports the federal government, military institutions, municipalities, and major utilities by managing electrical transmission and distribution systems. The Project Manager-Electrical will work onsite at Ft. Campbell, overseeing all project aspects, establishing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress. This is a collaborative role requiring close work with the client to ensure project deliverables meet scope and budget requirements.

Requirements

Five to seven (5-7) years of project management experience required (construction or utility experience preferred).
Previous experience with City Light & Power may be substituted for project management experience.
Experience with blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to view time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services.
Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
Ability to prepare construction schedules.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills required with the ability to delegate work appropriately.
Ability to work successfully as a Team Player with various partners from start to finish.
Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
A valid driver’s license is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project team personnel and resources.
Enhance and maintain relationships with clients, engineering personnel, and consultants.
Compile reports regarding financial performance of the project.
Oversee cost control and change management systems.
Attend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and pre-award.
Develop and maintain site logistics plans in coordination with Project Superintendent.
Prepare trade contracts and bid packages with assistance from Estimating Team.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of the project are compatible with CLP goals and client needs.
Oversee procurement process with Purchasing Department.
Track and balance resources across multiple simultaneous projects.
Set-up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections.
Communicate and enforce corporate Safety Program with the Safety Director.
Perform other duties as assigned.
