AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Honolulu. The role will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of small to large-scale design projects across the project lifecycle - from conceptual studies to full design and construction administration. This includes planning and managing project staffing requirements, reporting project performance, and identifying and addressing scope creep, schedule, or quality issues to ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects. Duties and expectations include managing one or more complex projects involving the full spectrum of engineering services offered by AECOM, providing project and technical task management for simultaneous projects, identifying problems, determining accuracy and relevance of information, using sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and making recommendations. The role also involves reviewing contracts, preparing fee proposals, project execution strategies, and managing sub-consultant scope, fees, deliverables, and performance. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist in developing and strengthening client relationships, acting as the primary liaison between AECOM and the client, and demonstrating good team leadership skills as a self-starter, energetic, and pro-active individual. Guidance to subordinate managers or mentorship to junior team members is also expected.
