About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Project Manager-Expert to support our customer's Cyber Security Governance activities. The Cyber Secretariat provides strategic, operational, and governance support to the various boards and councils within the Office of Cyber Security (OCS) Front Office. This role ensures effective oversight of cyber defense priorities, risks, capabilities, and initiatives across the organization. The Cyber Secretariat acts as a central coordination function between members, leadership, and project teams, and serves as an information custodian for the boards and councils. The position ensures that board and council discussions are well-prepared, decisions are clearly documented, actions are tracked to completion, and projects are elevated appropriately.

Requirements

  • Technical training, Certification(s), experience, and/or Degree (Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Professional and collaborative demeanor.
  • Very strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to determine and engage stakeholders across multiple organizations.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Understand the use of transcription software and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to interpret the transcripts and create reports.
  • TS/SCI w/Polygraph Security Clearance Level.
  • US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management support to the customer's Executive Director & Front Office area in the day-to-day operations assisting in managing requirements and interacting with various senior leaders in the Office of Cyber Security (OCS).
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and governance processes.
  • Develop and maintain briefing schedule.
  • Ensure briefing materials are submitted and provided to members within agreed timelines.
  • Record and maintain decisions, recommendations, action items and assigned owners in the official Memorandum for the Record (MFR).
  • Track actions through completion using customer's internal system.
  • Draft correspondence, briefing notes, decision memoranda, talking points and other communication.
  • Manage official records.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics and manage briefing schedule.
  • Facilitate communication.
  • Ensure organizational compliance.
  • Maintain official records, including MFR, within customer systems with role-based access.
  • Stay abreast of Sponsor's directives, regulations, guidance, notices, and standards on cybersecurity.
  • Review deliverables for grammar, flow, and completeness.
  • Communicate with team leads and senior leadership.
  • Assess changes and rapidly change direction in support of new or changing requirements.
