About The Position

Air Control Concepts is seeking a HVAC Controls Project Manager to manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, schedule, completion, and financial outcomes. This role involves driving engineering and field teams through all project phases and serving as the main point of contact for customers. The company emphasizes excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the commercial HVAC representation sector.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field or 6 years of direct field experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Proficient with HVAC Systems.
Electrical understanding.
Ability to interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

Focus on safety and use of Personal Protective Equipment on all sites, ensuring employees and subcontractors follow safety procedures.
Develop project execution plans.
Schedule project resources, costs, and procurement of materials.
Generate and submit progress bills and pursue timely payments from customers.
Communicate project status to customers and management regularly.
Provide direction to subcontractors, technicians, and the engineering team.
Manage jobsite communication and coordination with other trades.
Write and download controller software as needed.
Ensure programming and commissioning are completed per design on schedule.
Perform customer training as needed.
Respond to warranty calls.
Pursue Change Orders when practical.
Complete administrative tasks such as project documentation, weekly timesheets, expenditures, and vehicle maintenance on time.
Participate in job take-offs and estimate reviews as required.
Perform other duties as required by management.
