About The Position

The Musco Construction Services Team has an opening for a Project Manager in Denver, CO. This role involves managing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring accurate installation of Musco products, and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing scopes of work, coordinating with sales and engineering, providing training, and managing project documentation and finances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a technical field preferred (relevant work experience also considered).
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and understand project specifications, construction, and electrical drawings.
  • Computer oriented with necessary Word and Excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • Team and goal oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Review project, identify and verify all details to be included in the scope of work.
  • Develop scope of work and create request for quote (RFQ) for subcontractors.
  • Work with Musco's Sales Representative on pricing when needed.
  • Attend preconstruction meetings with customers, sales, and contractors to assure accurate information of installation.
  • Coordinate project details, installation and delivery arrangements with Sales and Engineering based on customers expectation and contractor availability.
  • Provide onsite training with customer or contractors to ensure that Musco products are installed correctly.
  • Field technical questions from all groups involved in project installation (Reps, Contractors, Customers, etc.).
  • Identify, communicate, and implement change orders; track installation and approve invoices.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to project stakeholders.
  • Final inspections and project close out documentation.
  • Manage 25-35 projects to completion yearly.
  • Perform weekly travel required to visit projects, with overnight travel typically two to four days a week.
