About The Position

The Project Manager will manage mechanical, plumbing, and fire suppression assignments in a capital project of a new hotel construction in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is a 3-years of full time on-site job in Puerto Rico and 3-years of hybrid work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
  • Over 3 years of direct related experience supporting capital projects
  • Fully bilingual: Spanish and English

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical, plumbing, and fire suppression projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and productivity to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits and project meetings to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve field issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Review and approve submittments, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Oversee project commissioning, testing, turnover, and closeout activities.
  • Execute other project related activities.
