We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and successful execution of commercial and industrial electrical projects from inception to completion. This role works closely with clients, field leadership, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards. This individual will lead project planning, coordinate with field teams and clients, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication and organizational skills, a solid understanding of electrical construction, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience; experience in the electrical construction industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems and construction practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to monitor project progress and address challenges as they arise.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
  • Track project costs and profitability while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and customers.
  • Support and mentor field personnel while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittmits, schedules, and closeout packages.
