About The Position

We’re looking for a Project Manager - Commercialization to play a pivotal role in bringing Organika products to market and keeping them available for customers. This role leads the coordination of contract manufacturing, production planning, costing, documentation, and inventory replenishment—ensuring projects move forward smoothly, timelines are met, and cross-functional teams and vendor partners stay aligned from concept through delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics), or related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of proven project management experience, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong financial acumen, ability to deliver margin and control costs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (Asana).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing and able to work in the Vancouver office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute integrated production and commercialization plans, aligning timelines, milestones, and deliverables to support successful product launches and replenishment priorities.
  • Allocate purchase orders to contract manufacturers using a balanced assessment of cost, capacity, performance, service levels, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review detailed cost estimates by gathering information from contract manufacturers and identifying opportunities to improve margins and overall financial outcomes.
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear, proactive updates on project status, risks, decisions, and opportunities to keep production schedules and commitments on track.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Production, and Product Development, to align on specifications, timelines, requirements, and launch readiness.
  • Coordinate product documentation, including specifications, formulas, bills of materials, and regulatory requirements, to support accurate execution and compliant production.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source ingredients, packaging materials, and other components needed to support commercialization and ongoing inventory replenishment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and drive timely follow-up to maintain momentum and support business priorities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
