About The Position

HB McClure is a 100% employee-owned company with over 100 years of experience in commercial mechanical solutions. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC, plumbing, retrofit, and design-build projects from initiation to completion. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, including schedule, budget, field coordination, customer communication, and financial performance. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with foremen, field teams, and customers to ensure high-quality, safe, and profitable project delivery. This is a hands-on, onsite position requiring regular jobsite presence and daily interaction with operations and field leaders.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC/plumbing construction project management experience
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, documentation, cost controls and financial tracking
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget goals
  • Demonstrated leadership experience directing field teams and subcontractors and driving accountability for project results
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills to effectively collaborate with field teams, engineers, general contractors, and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid PA driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Technical or trade education preferred
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other construction management software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple commercial mechanical construction projects from award through completion
  • Build and manage schedules, budgets, and execution plans
  • Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, and materials
  • Track costs, billings, forecasts, and change orders to protect margins
  • Review drawings and contracts to manage scope and risk
  • Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and productivity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams
  • Identify and solve problems quickly to keep projects moving timely and efficiently
