This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, documentation, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and overall project execution. The ideal candidate has strong project management experience in HVAC or mechanical contracting and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, change orders, and construction documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience supervising teams in a project-based environment
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems such as chillers, boilers, and building automation/controls
  • PMP, CPM, or other relevant project management certification

Responsibilities

  • Manage HVAC projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, submittals, RFIs, logs, and related documentation.
  • Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, billing, and change order management.
  • Coordinate with estimating teams on major scope changes and prepare or manage smaller change orders independently.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor compliance with contract requirements, company standards, safety expectations, and client specifications.
  • Support procurement, project reporting, and field coordination as needed.
  • Use project management platforms such as Quickbase, Procore, or similar tools to track progress and maintain records.
