About The Position

Flare Construction, LLC, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking Project Managers (Level I, II, or III) to lead or support civil construction projects across the western U.S. The role involves managing scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships for projects such as powerline ROW, substation civil work, site remediation, and infrastructure development. The level of responsibility and complexity will vary based on the candidate's experience, ranging from supporting senior PMs on smaller projects to independently leading high-value, complex projects. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • 1–3 years of construction or project coordination experience (Level I).
  • Familiarity with construction estimating and scheduling (Level I).
  • 3–7 years of progressive construction project management experience (Level II).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage mid-size projects (Level II).
  • Proficiency in cost tracking, scheduling, and client coordination (Level II).
  • 7+ years managing complex or high-value construction projects (Level III).
  • Proven leadership in client relations and financial management (Level III).
  • Experience mentoring project teams and driving process improvement (Level III).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (Level I).
  • OSHA 30 preferred (Level I).

Responsibilities

  • Manage or support civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and field personnel.
  • Prepare and track project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in safety and quality oversight.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
  • Support Senior PMs in planning and executing smaller projects (Level I).
  • Budget tracking, schedule monitoring, and documentation (Level I).
  • Field visits and safety and quality inspections (Level I).
  • Independently manage small to mid-sized projects with full budget, schedule, and client ownership (Level II).
  • Subcontractor and vendor coordination and contract administration (Level II).
  • Mentoring of Level I staff and project coordinators (Level II).
  • Lead high-value, complex, or multi-phase construction projects (Level III).
  • Client relationships, contract negotiations, and business development (Level III).
  • Mentorship of PM I and II staff and continuous improvement initiatives (Level III).
