About The Position

As a Project Manager in the Civil Department, you will work with project teams, clients, and technical staff to lead civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships, and for leading project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year program
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • 6+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience preferred
  • Experience with civil infrastructure projects, site development, transportation, drainage, or municipal projects preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Coordinate project work with engineers, surveyors, technicians, and other technical staff
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and help maintain strong client relationships
  • Prepare and review plans, specifications, reports, estimates, and project documents
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project updates with clients and internal teams
  • Support construction administration, observation, and project closeout responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to project team members
  • Help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with a high level of quality
