About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Project Manager/Civil Engineering SME located onsite in Juno Beach, FL. The estimated duration is 12 months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the client's site, with no telecommuting or remote work. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The position offers the opportunity to gain experience with a leading solar and wind energy provider, work with a team of professionals, learn new technologies, and enjoy a client campus with excellent facilities. Vitaver consultants provide support, and there is a Successful Completion Bonus Program. Payment is guaranteed to be in full and on time.

Requirements

Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL
Experience in utility level power generation or related industrial field. (7 years)
Experience in project management and/or personnel supervision
Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel)
Licensed Professional Engineer (Civil or Structural)
Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and prioritize a variety of programs and projects.
Analyze complex technical and administrative methodologies, practices, and problems; evaluate alternatives, and implement creative and sound alternatives.
Manage, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the work of professionals and Contractors.
Function as SME in applicable codes and regulations for civil design and permitting- general and project specific.
Review and provide input for: Hydrology study, Geotech report, Civil Design packages, SWPPP and SPCC documents for project specific compliance and accuracy and code compliance.
Project Specific Scope development for Engineer On Record.
Review and provide input for local and national code compliance for civil design.
