Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and various engineering software packages.
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and construction documents for residential communities and subdivisions.
Experience in preparing hydrology/hydraulic studies and stormwater management reports.
Experience with permit applications, quantity estimates, and contractor coordination.
Ability to guide and assist junior staff.
Ability to provide construction-related services and field support.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the production team, assisting them in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing preliminary and final site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and construction documents for residential communities and subdivisions.
Take on a leadership role by guiding and assisting junior staff. Ensure that project-based tasks are executed accurately and efficiently, nurturing the talents of the next generation.
Utilize engineering prowess to prepare a wide range of reports, opinions, and recommendations, including hydrology/hydraulic studies, stormwater management reports, project schedules, and utility coordination.
Provide essential construction-related services and direct junior team members, including permit applications, quantity estimates, contractor coordination, and field support.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and various engineering software packages to ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget.
Develop Project Manager skills through training and mentoring, with the opportunity to grow within Atwell's residential land development practice.
