About The Position

For Project Management services in the Manufacturing and Engineering area. This role involves overseeing all aspects of capital projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing resources, resolving issues, and providing technical and organizational support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project delivery within the pharmaceutical industry and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • At least eight (8) years of previous exposure managing capital projects in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experienced with RFP process
  • Experienced with design firms’ management
  • Experience with manufacturing, packaging processes and equipment
  • Experience with clean rooms design and facilities improvements
  • Proven GMP project delivery experience
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English (good communications)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall project delivery and governance.
  • Develop and maintain project plan, schedule, budget, risk register and stakeholder communications.
  • Chair project meetings, manage scope changes, approve project-level deliverables (per delegated authority).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Oversee all aspects of projects including planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up.
  • Ensure project activities adhere to domestic and international regulatory requirements and approved guidelines within the area of responsibility.
  • Anticipate and communicate resource needs to management and project sponsors.
  • Evaluate project issues and develop effective solutions to achieve scientific, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.
  • Assist with technical, financial, and organizational challenges by researching issues, providing recommendations, and maintaining document archives.
  • Identify and anticipate potential schedule delays or changes, analyzing their cost and resource impact.
  • Implement tools, techniques, and processes to generate information that enables informed decision-making within project teams.
  • Ensure all project work complies with company practices, policies, and standard operating procedures.
