AutoPayPlus is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) to support the CEO in driving operational excellence, technology initiatives, and cross-departmental alignment. This role is primarily Business Analyst–focused, ensuring that the organization’s business requirements are translated into clear, actionable development plans and operational improvements. The PM/BA will work closely with internal departments and our technology teams to streamline workflows, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure projects advance quickly and accurately in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, or PM/BA hybrid roles, ideally in fintech, financial services, payments, or SaaS.
  • Strong experience gathering business requirements and converting them into actionable technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile, user story writing, and iterative delivery cycles.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple ongoing efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating with distributed/offshore technical teams is a plus.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the CEO and department leaders to understand business needs, gaps, pain points, and strategic priorities.
  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements, workflows, and processes across all operational areas (Finance, Compliance, Dealer Services, Card Services, CX, Marketing, IT).
  • Translate business requirements into clearly written user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional documentation.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses and propose optimized, tech-enabled solutions.
  • Partners with QA and tech teams to validate solutions, coordinate testing, and confirm alignment with business needs.
  • Support data analysis efforts to help the CEO with forecasting, decision-making, and strategic evaluations.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely communication.
  • Manage cross-functional projects that align with company priorities and CEO directives.
  • Coordinate tasks, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables using Agile-lite best practices.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, and executive-level updates.
  • Facilitate standups, project syncs, and requirement review meetings.
  • Track team accountability, progress, blockers, and changes to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Oversee rollout, adoption, and ongoing improvement of new workflows and systems.
