About The Position

The Building People, LLC, has an immediate opening for a Project Manager – Building Controls. We are looking for a mid-level project management professional with demonstrated capacity to manage multiple construction projects across multiple sites concurrently. The Project Manager will lead planning, scheduling, coordination, execution, and closeout activities for active construction projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong field coordination, client communication, subcontractor oversight, and senior-level proficiency using Microsoft Project to build, maintain, and report against integrated project schedules. The ideal candidate can work with minimal oversight, balance competing priorities across geographically dispersed sites, proactively manage risks and constraints, and provide clear project visibility to clients, leadership, and delivery teams. Candidate may be remote/telework during times when onsite work is not required if candidate can arrive in the Washington DC metro within two (2) days’ notice.

Requirements

  • Ability to arrive in the Washington DC metro within two (2) days’ notice if working remotely/teleworking.
