About The Position

EAC Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for their Aviation business operation. This role will be a hybrid position, allowing work from any of their Florida locations: Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, or Orlando. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading construction administration, implementing company policies, developing scopes of services, negotiating fees, planning tasks, and managing teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. They will also manage scope, identify additional services, and work with clients to secure additional fees. Accurate and timely client invoicing, with assistance in collections, is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the role may involve serving as the Engineer of Record, developing sound engineering solutions, implementing quality control plans, and developing production work plans, schedules, and budgets. The Project Manager will lead aviation airside and/or landside design project teams, ensure adherence to codes and standards, and provide guidance to design staff. A strong understanding of airside and landside airport infrastructure projects, FAA and TSA regulations, AIP funding requirements, FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, pavement design, and FAARField Design Software is essential. The role also includes business development activities such as maintaining client relationships, seeking new opportunities, leading BD pursuits, developing Go/NoGo and Win Plans, contributing to technical write-ups, developing presentations, and participating in interviews. Engagement in industry organizations and contributing to social media and internal communications to enhance EAC's brand are also expected.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as PM for small- to large-sized projects with multiple disciplines and medium complexity (multi-disciplined services requiring coordination).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the project development process.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to plan, manage and deliver assignments using all project delivery methods.
  • Technical knowledge of civil engineering and design standards.
  • Knowledge of airside and landside airport infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations.
  • Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circular’s and Engineering Briefs.
  • Familiarity with pavement design and FAARField Design Software.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AIP funding requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Comfortable leading construction administration.

  • Implements the Quality Control Plan to deliver quality deliverables.
  • Develops production work plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Assist with preparation of scopes and budgets for new task orders or amendments.
  • Leads aviation airside and/or landside design project teams
  • Ensure proper codes, regulations and standards are being used by engineers on projects.
  • Provides the design staff with guidance and assistance on projects.
  • Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients.
  • Seeks BD opportunities through active marketing with clients.
  • Leads or contributes to BD pursuits. Develops Go/NoGo and Win Plans with winning concepts and strategies. Contributes technical write-ups. Develops presentations and participates in interviews.
  • Participates in industry organizations and contributes to social media and internal intranet posts to further EAC’s brand.
