We create and maintain an efficient project schedule and bring awareness and mindfulness to all our efforts. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager and field team to help keep residential construction and remodeling projects organized, on schedule, and running smoothly. The Assistant Project Manager supports the day-to-day coordination of projects by helping manage documentation, communication, scheduling, and job progress while gaining hands-on experience in project leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction experience who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a larger project management role.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential construction, remodeling, or project coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of construction documents, schedules, and project flow
  • Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn project management software and systems
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the company

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating residential construction and remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Support scheduling of subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and project milestones
  • Help track project progress to ensure work is completed according to schedule and scope
  • Communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members as directed
  • Maintain project files, documentation, change orders, purchase orders, and job-related records
  • Assist with reviewing plans, specifications, and field conditions to help identify potential issues
  • Support material procurement and ensure materials and equipment arrive on time
  • Participate in job site meetings and help communicate next steps to the project team
  • Monitor job site organization and help uphold safety, cleanliness, and professionalism standards
  • Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities
