The Los Angeles, CA office has an opening for a Project Manager for our Civic Architecture studio. The Project Manager role involves both client-facing and team-facing responsibilities and has tremendous growth potential.

Requirements

  • Experience with multiple project sizes, with a concentration in large and complex projects
  • Skilled in architecture and detailing as well as proficient in construction administrative processes
  • Proven effectiveness coordinating with contractors, architectural teams, and consultants
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Requires understanding of project software: Revit, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.
  • Successful at leading and organizing a team of multiple disciplines and consultants
  • Confident with public speaking and networking
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented and organized with proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in complex civic projects
  • Degree in architecture from an accredited university
  • Must be licensed in California or attainable within one year

  • DBIA certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and organize project team for design, development, production and project document delivery
  • Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client
  • Successfully execute projects by following Stantec's and Owner’s protocols and procedures in order to reach the best solution
  • Develop strong client, consultant and collaborator relationships
  • Understand budget, code and jurisdictional requirements
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams
  • Collaborate on project fee development and project proposals
