The Project Manager & Business Analyst (PM/BA) will own project delivery end-to-end from defining requirements, aligning stakeholders, managing timelines, ensuring data quality and compliance (HIPAA/FERPA where applicable), and driving adoption of CRM, data warehouse, and integration solutions. As the leader of projects across different departments, this position will work in close partnership with the Senior Director of Programming Services and the Senior Vice President for Advancement Services, and be responsible for delivering technology and process improvements that advance fundraising operations for the UConn Foundation, with a particular focus on system integration, prospect development, data-driven fundraising, and stewardship. The PM/BA will also provide business analysis process and requirements analysis for key Foundation projects, and will partner with Development - including UConn Health, IT, Gift Processing, Prospect Research, and Finance to streamline data flows, enhance analytics, and enable measurable fundraising outcomes.

  • 3+ years of experience in project management and business analysis.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, UAT, change management.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management Lead cross-functional projects from intake to rollout.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Tracks project status, maintains issue logs and provides status reports to the Senior Director & SVP and other appropriate stakeholders.
  • Coordinate work across Advancement Services, Medical School IT, Central IT, and business stakeholders; facilitate decision-making.
  • Develop User Acceptance Testing plans, deployment checklists for assigned projects.
  • Drive adoption and operational readiness (training, communications, Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Business Analysis & Process Design Provides analysis and detailed functional specifications of user requirements to meet business needs of the organization as they pertain to the function and use of the Foundation’s systems.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
  • Develops detailed documentation of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or enhance business applications and processes.
  • Develop test plans and lead UAT; define data validation and reconciliation procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Leadership Provide visible leadership across the entire organization by engaging in organization-wide activities such as department meetings, all-staff meetings, and staff events.
