About The Position

SCS Engineers is seeking an Air Quality/Environmental Compliance Project Manager to support its growing Southwest practice and solid waste and industrial clients. The role involves performing technical work, managing client contact, and overseeing schedules and work products in accordance with SCS quality-control standards. The position may be hybrid at an SCS office in California, Arizona, or Nevada, or remote, while supporting the Southwest Business Unit. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical, or another related science field.
• At least 6 years of related experience in air quality, air permitting, and/or air compliance.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage air quality permitting and compliance, greenhouse gas emissions compliance, general regulatory compliance, and permitting for solid waste and industrial facility projects.
• Perform technical work such as air modeling, calculations, compliance issue reviews, preparation of permitting documentation, data review, research, and report writing.
• Conduct field activities, including meetings on compliance or permitting-related issues, as needed.
• Interact with clients and prepare proposals as needed.
• Manage project schedules and work products in accordance with SCS quality-control standards.
