About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced Project Managers with strong organisational, analytical, and operational skills to support advanced AI training and evaluation projects. This role focuses on coordinating projects designed to improve large language model (LLM) browsing capabilities. Selected professionals will track project and contributor performance, review work quality, manage communications, and take ownership of operational challenges from identification through resolution.

Requirements

Professional experience in project management, operations, programme coordination, or a closely related role
Experience managing complex workflows, distributed contributors, or annotation teams is highly valued
Familiarity with AI training data, human-data operations, LLM evaluation, or related projects is advantageous
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Analytical mindset with confidence working with performance and quality data
Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets or comparable spreadsheet tools
Excellent written communication and contributor-management skills
High level of ownership and ability to independently solve unfamiliar operational problems
Ability to identify issues, determine practical solutions, and carry projects through from start to finish
Strong interest in the successful execution of AI and LLM training projects

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day operations across AI training and evaluation projects
Track project progress, deliverables, priorities, and contributor performance
Maintain organised project workflows and ensure tasks remain on schedule
Identify operational issues and take ownership of resolving them
Adapt quickly as project requirements, priorities, and workflows evolve
Manage communications with annotators and other project contributors
Provide clear guidance on project requirements, expectations, and workflow updates
Support contributors in resolving questions or operational blockers
Maintain effective communication across distributed project teams
Help ensure consistent execution across large-scale annotation workflows
Review annotator work for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines
Monitor individual and project-level quality metrics
Identify recurring quality issues and potential root causes
Track performance data using Google Sheets and related tools
Surface findings that can improve contributor performance and overall project quality
Support projects focused on advancing LLM browsing and information-retrieval capabilities
Help refine operational processes for AI training-data workflows
Coordinate quality-control activities across model training and evaluation tasks
Apply analytical judgement to unfamiliar project challenges
Contribute to the successful delivery and continuous improvement of AI data programmes
