About The Position

Advanced Electrical Services (AES - Quinn Power Systems), a division of Quinn Company (Caterpillar), is seeking a dynamic Project Manager II to lead high-impact projects that deliver essential power to the heart of our communities. This role is an opportunity to ensure that critical facilities like hospitals, clinics, and community buildings have the reliable power they need to operate. The position offers a chance to see your work make a tangible difference by providing backup power solutions that keep communities safe and running. This position could be based out of Oxnard or City of Industry.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of 7-10 years of extensive, hands-on project management experience.
Proven experience managing projects in a construction or manufacturing setting, with expertise in formal project management processes.
Strong technical skills and the ability to read and comprehend project specifications and equipment submittals.
Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills to manage project team activities and overcome obstacles.
Willingness to travel within the So / No Cal Quinn sales territory up to 10-20% of the time.

Nice To Haves

PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership and responsibility for all assigned projects from start to finish.
Oversee all phases by coordinating with internal sales, engineering, and service teams to manage budgeting, scheduling, and successful execution.
Develop comprehensive project plans, communicate changes effectively, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Select and coordinate with contractors and consult with clients to direct project development.
Manage critical project components including customer support, contract administration, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls.
Uphold the highest standards through rigorous quality assurance, testing, and commissioning to ensure power solutions are ready when they're needed most.
Write clear, informative reports and correspondence.
Speak effectively and persuasively with clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment and resolving conflicts to keep projects moving forward.
