Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of design and construction capital projects ensuring consistency with Milwaukee County strategies, standards, commitments and goals. Provide project management with the best practices and processes throughout design, planning, cost estimating, bid/construction document preparation, consultant management, and close-out for Capital Improvement Projects on Milwaukee County facilities and infrastructure. Deliver responsive customer service to departments through timely project reporting and communications. Functions include leading meetings with key stakeholders on project planning, budgeting, and schedule, with ongoing leadership of project execution and deliverables to accomplish the project goals and objectives. May work individually or lead a team of internal and external resources to accomplish objectives.
