About The Position

This role involves working directly with clients at national, state, and local associations to develop advocacy campaigns. Key responsibilities include creating Calls For Action (CFAs), target lists, and mass emails, as well as contacting legislative offices to verify district mapping and shapefiles. The Project Manager will track and report on campaign metrics, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This position also requires coordinating with internal teams, participating in events, and reporting on campaign progress and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Affairs, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in advocacy, public affairs, policy, or a related area.
  • Extremely strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the political process, with experience engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both inside our organization and with our clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Teams experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients at national, state and local associations to create Calls For Action (CFAs), target lists, mass emails.
  • Contact legislative offices and verify district mapping and shapefiles.
  • Track and report metrics – open rates, click throughs, participation rates, etc.
  • Balance, track and effectively manage multiple projects, competing priorities, requests, and deadlines.
  • Create, follow and update project management tracking materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to support their advocacy efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure advocacy strategies are integrated into broader programs.
  • Participate in events, meetings, and other activities.
  • Report on the progress of advocacy campaigns, evaluating their impact and effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes to both internal and client stakeholders.
