About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of projects considering budget, timelines, resources, and task management. You will communicate transparently and in a timely manner with assigned Signant Health clients and internal stakeholders, managing project risks and ensuring timely resolution while reporting status with appropriate internal and external stakeholders. This role requires an effective leader who excels in problem-solving, can motivate a result-oriented team, and builds trust-based relationships with Signant Health clients. You will contribute to the implementation of company-wide process improvements to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience in a Project Management role or equivalent
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle and specification and configuration of software products
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with focus on first-time quality delivery
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; comfortable presenting to diverse and large audiences
  • Proven ability to direct project activities, ensure customer satisfaction, and adhere to study budgets
  • Must show initiative and be able to work independently as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Background in pharmaceutical, medical device, medical education, or CRO industries
  • Experience with clinical trials, pharmaceutical industry, or life sciences
  • Knowledge of the clinical research environment and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Willingness to travel for business (overnight trips expected quarterly)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead initial project delivery tasks, including the software development lifecycle (SDLC) of simple to medium complexity studies.
  • Ensure project systems are built and released in accordance with client expectations; lead the project system change control process.
  • Support implementation of complex, multi-product projects as needed.
  • Manage projects in accordance with established timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Review, approve, and maintain project and corporate systems and documentation.
  • Handle client escalations independently; work with internal and client teams to resolve issues and escalate as appropriate in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers on assigned projects; ensure quality of communication with clients in terms of cadence, content, and audience.
  • Manage financial health of assigned projects, including vendor services, licensing, payments, invoicing, devices, resource assignments, and vendor management activities.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure project delivery meets timelines and client expectations within budget.
  • Identify and document Incident Reports with Quality Management; coordinate client notification and closure.
  • Report project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
