About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master to support multiple Agile delivery teams. This position requires a servant leader who can facilitate Scrum and Kanban practices, remove obstacles, promote team accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem solver with strong communication skills and a passion for helping teams achieve high performance. The Project Manager 2 will serve as a Scrum Master and Agile facilitator for two to three Agile teams, ensuring the successful implementation of Scrum and Kanban methodologies. This role is responsible for guiding Agile ceremonies, promoting team self-management, removing impediments, supporting backlog quality, and driving continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, helping teams deliver value while maintaining transparency, accountability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design, computer science, or a related field, and/or 10 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and certification with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within collaborative team environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and personality types.
  • Proven ability to coach teams and support high-performance Agile delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions for complex, time-sensitive challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive collaborative decision-making.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Must physically reside within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
  • Must be able to participate in a webcam interview as a condition of consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of Scrum Master experience.
  • 4+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a servant leader and facilitator for multiple Agile teams.
  • Lead and facilitate daily standups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning activities, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Promote adherence to Scrum and Kanban principles, practices, and team agreements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability.
  • Empower teams to self-organize and achieve high levels of performance.
  • Organize and coordinate project planning activities across Agile teams.
  • Track, measure, and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and release performance.
  • Develop and manage team performance metrics to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain process documentation and project artifacts.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with management, developers, product owners, and support teams regarding project status and product issues.
  • Facilitate discussions, collaboration, and conflict resolution among team members and stakeholders.
  • Improve transparency by communicating project information and team progress effectively.
  • Support backlog maintenance and help ensure the development of high-quality user stories.
  • Coach teams on Agile best practices, estimation techniques, prioritization, and delivery planning.
  • Assist with defect management, prioritization, and issue resolution.
  • Help maintain visibility into team workloads, priorities, and delivery commitments.
  • Identify and remove team impediments while minimizing distractions.
  • Support continuous process improvements and Agile maturity initiatives.
  • Drive collaborative decision-making across teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining standards, tools, and working agreements that support team success.

Benefits
