About The Position

The Project Management Technician role involves installing display lighting and banners, building out showrooms, performing D&R and U-Box repair station work, and installing signage. This position also assists in maintaining U-Haul facilities to support colleagues in providing excellent customer service. This is a traveling position throughout District 27, covering parts of Georgia and North Carolina, and all of South Carolina. The work schedule is 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, with reimbursement for food and lodging according to U-Haul's travel policy.

Requirements

Experience performing and utilizing tools and equipment in any of the following areas: carpentry, metal framing, painting, masonry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record to operate a motor vehicle
Adhere to all local vehicular regulations while driving

Responsibilities

Install display lighting & Banners
Buildout Showroom, D&R, & U-Box Repair station
Install signage
Help to maintain U-Haul facilities
Respond promptly and efficiently to facility needs
Collaborate on projects or work alone as needed
