Project Management Supervisor

CoegiMinneapolis, MN
Hybrid

About The Position

The Project Management Supervisor role is a hybrid position, supporting a limited portfolio of high-touch accounts and leading a team of one to four Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, or Project Assistants within the Business Operations department. This role is responsible for maintaining internal project management standards, developing direct reports through coaching and professional goals, and contributing to cross-departmental process improvement. The Project Management Supervisor serves as a key connection point between individual contributor execution and Business Operations leadership, supporting departmental training, process documentation, and the rollout of AI-enabled workflows across the team.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of project management experience, preferably within an agency environment, with day-to-day digital campaign management, programmatic bidding, and social advertising experience.
  • Working toward or has received a PMP certification.
  • Advanced experience with project management tools and time tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with paid media platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with trafficking third-party creative tags and implementing tracking pixels.
  • Superior skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Demonstrated mentorship or informal leadership experience.
  • Comfort using agency-supported AI tools and enabling adoption across direct reports.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who takes personal responsibility for education in digital marketing and leadership.
  • Collaborative, diplomatic, and big-picture in cross-functional settings.
  • Comfortable holding confidential, sensitive information about direct reports and the business.
  • Curious Experimentation: tries new tools (especially AI) without prompting; comes to status with 'what I tried this week,' not just 'what I did.'
  • Confident Humility: brings a clear point of view and updates it when challenged; asks 'what am I missing?'; disagrees agreeably and welcomes a challenge network.
  • Cross-Functional Instinct: naturally thinks beyond their lane; pulls others in proactively; shares context without being asked; builds relationships across departments.
  • Generous Collaboration: enters new partnerships, sister agencies, or unfamiliar workflows with curiosity rather than skepticism; volunteers context, capacity, and connections without keeping score; leaves new collaborators feeling smarter and more supported.
  • Selfless Ambition: ambitious for the work and the team, not for personal visibility; promotes others' wins; comfortable being challenged; builds people up, especially newer ones.
  • Bias Toward Reduction: when given a problem, asks what to remove before what to add; notices when a process is broken rather than building a workaround; comfortable saying 'we should stop doing this.'
  • Decision Quality: makes good calls under uncertainty with imperfect information and owns the outcomes; can articulate trade-offs; makes the call rather than escalating reflexively; owns the miss when wrong, without spinning.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree; concentration in marketing, statistics, business or advertising preferred, or equivalent professional experience

  • Bring a collaborative, big-picture, diplomatic posture to cross-functional conversations on behalf of the business and the team.
  • Own account-assignment, project-ideation, departmental-training, and process-improvement decisions for the team in coordination with BOPS leadership.
