About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Specialist to support the E-7A Program in Tukwila, WA. The E-7A Program is a fast-paced environment with both sustaining work and new business activity. The successful candidate will be expected to manage competing priorities, adapt quickly to changing program needs, and provide accurate, timely analysis that supports effective decision-making. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Scheduling, Engineering, and program leadership to ensure alignment across scope, schedule, and cost. This is a part-time only position. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
  • 5+ years’ experience with estimates of completion (EACs,) forecasting, resource planning, and cost management systems
  • 5+ years’ experience, skill, and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data
  • Experience Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Experience in the defense or aerospace industry
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start)
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Supports program execution through financial analysis, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Assists in the development, maintenance, and analysis of Estimate at Complete (EAC) forecasts
  • Monitors and analyzes program performance using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) metrics
  • Supports integration of scope, schedule, and cost data for program reporting and decision support
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc performance reports for leadership and stakeholders
  • Partners with Finance and Scheduling teams to validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across program metrics
  • Identifies and analyzes cost, schedule, and performance variances; support mitigation planning and risk assessment
  • Supports proposal activities, including basis of estimate (BOE) development, labor/hour forecasting, and financial assumptions
  • Assists with Agile and program planning activities, including hour allocation, trend analysis, and workload forecasting
  • Develops concise, accurate briefing materials and summaries for leadership review
  • Supports special projects and other program-related analysis as needed
