About The Position

This is a new opportunity to join WSP as a Project Manager supporting their dynamic Mechanical and Electrical teams within Properties & Buildings. The role involves leading the delivery of multidisciplinary projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring excellence in scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management. The Project Manager will define and implement optimal project delivery strategies, manage projects with total fees ranging from $500,000 to $10,000,000+, and partner with clients to define project objectives, scope, risks, schedules, and commercial frameworks while strengthening long-term relationships. The role also includes developing and maintaining comprehensive Project Management Plans, leading internal and external multidisciplinary team meetings, identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth, and championing WSP’s commitment to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) across all projects and teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Architecture or Construction Management considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience delivering complex engineering projects through pre-construction and construction phases.
Strong knowledge of alternative delivery models and multiple forms of contracting.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, cash flow, schedules, and risk on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
Experience with project management and delivery tools including MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, and BIM platforms.
Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
Experience across sectors such as Institutional, Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, and Commercial Buildings.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive Project Management Plans covering objectives, responsibilities, schedules, budgets, risks, and communication protocols.
Lead and chair internal and external multidisciplinary team meetings, driving alignment, accountability, and decision-making.
Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, contributing to proposal development and strategic pursuits.
Champion WSP’s commitment to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) across all projects and teams.
