About The Position

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. As a PMO Officer you are positioned as an independent team member of a business team that is responsible for the development or maintenance & improvement of our state-of-the-art lithography machines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or other relevant fields
  • At least 5 years of working experience as PM(O) expert or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects
  • Experience with MS Project Online or a similar tool
  • Strong English communication skills both written and oral

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a complex stakeholder landscape is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Challenging the triple constraint (scope, timing, budget) as a recognized business partner, to optimize business value
  • Driving effective decision making on all levels as a trusted ‘advisor’ of the Product Development Manager and his/her cross sectoral Product Team
  • Implementing and improving project (program) standards and processes, e.g. related to project planning, financial management, product generation process, reporting, change control, risk management and quality.
  • Preparing and facilitating progress reviews and key decision meetings and actively follow-up on agreements made during these meetings
  • Providing guidance during the financial forecasting (budget) process and proactively assisting regular financial management and reporting
  • Pro-actively connecting , enabling and challenging all stakeholders.
  • Informing and guiding other PMO Project Officers about the status and progress of the Product and what they should focus on
  • Driving completeness of all inputs from deciders in the product generation process
  • Growing people and the team competences of PMO and ASML’s Project Management community, e.g. by driving, participating, leading & implementing cross-PMO improvement projects
