About The Position

The MRO Scheduling, Planning & Customer Prioritization Project Manager Reports to the Operations Site Leader and will work closely with: Production Control, Shops, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Account Management. The Project Manager is the front-line owner of scheduling, work planning, and customer prioritization for assigned aircraft, components, or work packages moving through the MRO. This role translates customer commitments and shop capacity into a workable, day-to-day schedule — sequencing work, resolving conflicts between competing priorities, and keeping customers and internal stakeholders aligned on status, changes, and risks. The PM is the responsible for on-time, on-budget delivery of each assigned project from induction through completion.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or application solutions
  • 5+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • 5+ years of experience in using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains the Master Scheduling project initiatives, team plan and schedule complex projects, programs, and change driven activities
  • Initiates and implements process improvements (e.g. value stream mapping, employee engagement, MPS techniques, flow reduction, etc.)
  • Integrating cost and risk assessments at the business unit level
  • Manages the development of new master scheduling application, all interface solutions and data requirements. Represents business process and application at the site level
  • Provides analysis and product development initiatives determine scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests
  • Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning and business case refinement
  • Develops strategic presentations that portray Master Scheduling philosophies, techniques, practices and continuous improvement
