DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position focuses on overseeing the development of design projects from early planning through construction to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely progress. Within this role, you will support collaboration with engineering teams, consultants, stakeholders, and partners across multiple phases of project work. As a Project Management Engineer, you will perform the following duties: Project Review: Review assigned projects and prepare complete plan, specification, and estimate submission packages Schedule Monitoring: Track project timelines and ensure tasks are completed in order and on time Consultant Coordination: Monitor consultant agreements and support timely supplements and work orders Data Management: Maintain accurate submission and status information in PennDOT Project Collaboration Center ( PPCC) to support timely routing and tracking Meeting Participation: Attend project meetings and provide clear updates including current and past due submissions Stakeholder Support: Work with partners, agencies, and consultants to support project schedule development Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period, upon successful completion of the probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Allentown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
