This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Management Analysts to join our team. Position Summary: HII Mission Technologies has an immediate opportunity available for a Full-Time Project Management Analyst 1 to provide direct support within DLA Research and Development (R&D). This position may be near Fort Belvoir, VA, or remote. Support the Defense Logistics Innovation Research R&D Program for the Defense Logistics Agency. This may include supporting DLA R&D, providing project guidance/updates to stakeholders, Project Managers, and project support analysts. Serve as a liaison between the program stakeholders, project participants, government working groups, industry, and academia. Facilitate meetings. Support and monitor program and project objectives, metrics, opportunities, and strategic alignments. Assist with research and analysis for current and emerging technology reports. Submit various presentations, assessments, summary reports, and monthly reports to project management team. Apply technology and program expertise to support various DLA R&D Program initiatives and projects. Come support our work with the DLA and join a high-performing team of scientists and engineers!

Requirements

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET government security clearance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Excellent customer and organizational level communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Project/program management or engineering experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects/priorities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Serve as a liaison between the program stakeholders, project participants, government working groups, industry, and academia.
  • Facilitate meetings.
  • Support and monitor program and project objectives, metrics, opportunities, and strategic alignments.
  • Assist with research and analysis for current and emerging technology reports.
