SSI is seeking a Project Management, Acquisition & Technical Advisor (SETA) for a role in Chantilly, VA.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of SCO-like Acquisition experience supporting DoD R&D, acquisition, or technical programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with the software development lifecycle, methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps), and best practices
  • Experience coordinating program execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting test events, demonstrations, or operational evaluations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive briefing development.
  • Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting rapid prototyping or advanced capability development programs.
  • Background in systems integration, operational testing, or demonstration planning.
  • Familiarity with DoD program management and acquisition processes (e.g., DoD 5000 series).
  • Experience with modern software development tools, languages, and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with DoD software acquisition pathways and policies (e.g., Software Acquisition Pathway, DoDI 5000.87).
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily program activities to align technical efforts, schedules, and mission objectives.
  • Support the Program Manager in tracking execution progress, managing risks, and mitigating dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain key program documents, including integrated schedules, action item lists, execution plans, and leadership briefings.
  • Coordinate program reviews, working groups, and technical exchange meetings.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative acquisition strategies and plans.
  • Assist in preparing essential acquisition documents, such as Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and contract modifications.
  • Monitor contract execution and performance to ensure all deliverables meet program requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between the program office and contracting activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of test and demonstration events involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop test objectives, execution plans, and evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including participants, scheduling, and site requirements.
  • Track demonstration outcomes, capture lessons learned, and support post-event transition planning.
  • Facilitate coordination among government stakeholders, performers, and operational partners.
  • Track action items to maintain technical and operational alignment across all teams.
  • Develop executive briefings and status updates summarizing program progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Provide clear communications to support leadership decision-making and program alignment.
