About The Position
The Project Maintenance Assistant assists the Director of Maintenance with activities relating to design, construction and coordination of hospital projects. The Project Maintenance Assistant will help in maintaining a safe environment for patients, employees and visitors who use the facilities at Mary Rutan Hospital.
Requirements
- Industrial Technology, Electrical or some electronic Engineering, HVAC Plumbing or equivalent experience in a hospital setting.
- At least one (1) year experience in building field.
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations relating to Life Safety Code, NFPA, ADA, OBBC, NEC, Ohio Fire Code and regulatory agencies governed by Hospitals and Medical Offices
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Basic computer and electronics knowledge.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to be organized
- Ability to multi-task
