About The Position

At HIPP, the Project Leader/Indianapolis Office Lead manages projects from proposal through completion while helping establish HIPP Design + Consulting's presence in Indianapolis. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with scope, quality, and regulatory requirements. As a founding member of HIPP's first Midwest office, this individual will provide local technical leadership, build client relationships, support proposal and business development efforts, and help develop the Indianapolis team and office operations. The position works closely with the Client Solutions Executive and HIPP's established delivery teams and reports to the Vice President of Project Delivery.

Requirements

10+ year's experience leading projects for life science, pharmaceutical, CDMO, healthcare, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or regulated manufacturing clients.
Experience managing projects from proposal through completion.
Strong client-facing, project leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to support business development, proposals, interviews, and pursuit strategies.
Familiarity with applicable state building codes and industry standards.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a developing office and market.
Ability to travel regularly throughout Indiana and the surrounding Midwest, with periodic travel to HIPP's Raleigh office.
Eligible to work in the United States.
HIPP is not able to sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from proposal development through completion, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and client communication.
Serve as the primary contact for clients and key stakeholders throughout each project.
Coordinate with discipline leads, technical teams, subcontractors, and project controls personnel.
Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, work hours, and deliverables, taking corrective action when necessary.
Ensure project deliverables follow HIPP's established quality processes and standards.
Lead or support proposals, interviews, scope development, fee strategy, and other pursuit activities.
Partner with the Client Solutions Executive and company leadership on target accounts and business development efforts.
Represent HIPP during client meetings, site visits, interviews, and relationship-building activities throughout Indiana and the Midwest.
Develop relationships with local clients, contractors, subconsultants, and vendors.
Help recruit, onboard, and mentor Indianapolis team members and establish effective local office routines.
Deliver projects that generate strong client references, repeat work, and opportunities for expanded services.
