About The Position

The Project Leader is responsible for developing project plans and leading small projects to completion. This is a hybrid role requiring that you be in the office 1-2 days per week and within a commutable distance of one of our eligible offices. The role operates during general business hours, Monday through Friday. This hybrid approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 3 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including project planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and delivery coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks, process inefficiencies, and quality gaps, and implement effective, sustainable solutions.
  • Strong experience communicating project status, risks, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Salesforce.
  • Experience using data, metrics, and analysis to support prioritization, decision-making, and continuous process improvement in regulated or complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates progress, issues, and barriers, to internal and external customers.
  • Conducts periodic status meetings.
  • Conducts root cause analysis of processes and issues, identifies and makes recommendations for improvements, and develops documentation.
  • Researches, compiles, extrapolates and validates data used to forecast staffing needs and work flows, and/or resolve quality and other operational issues.
  • Assists in managing project scope to ensure business needs are met and the project scope as defined in the project charter is delivered, identifying, documenting and raising requests for changes from original specifications.
  • Communicate plans, status, and issues within the team, group, or project, including both IT and business members and management.
  • Has basic understanding of project management methodology, tools & processes and able to apply to small projects.
