About The Position

The Project Leader will be responsible for supporting the sales activities of Eaton's Power Quality (PQ) sales team to achieve sales revenue goals in CPS Hong Kong & Macau. This role involves providing professional technical responses for Eaton's UPS, Solution product series, and Datacenter solutions, including PD products, cooling, Micro Data Centers (MDC), Power Distribution Units (PDU), and Static Transfer Switches (STS). The Project Leader will collaborate closely with the PLM team, RD team, HK PMO team, and HK Service team. Key responsibilities include pre-sales technical support and expertise in implementing customer applications related to UPS systems, power distribution systems, and cooling, potentially including other PQ manufactured products. This involves preparing for, participating in, and presenting at customer and consultant seminars, providing solutions, and preparing bidding documents. The role requires examining customer requirements for equipment and documentation, providing technical order reviews, and recommending cost-effective configurations. The Project Leader will support sales staff in assessing product applications and preparing detailed specifications, and will interface with customers, sales staff, consultants, and contractors. Additionally, the role involves tracking competitor technology developments and supporting technology training activities for the sales team, distributors, and customers as a speaker. When business needs arise, the Project Leader will also supervise and manage projects on-site in a Project Manager capacity.

Requirements

Requires graduated in Electrical Engineering, Building Service, or Electrical system automation of University at least.
Minimum eight years project, or engineering experience, engaging in application or supporting UPS, power distribution system and cooling.
Requires practical experience in application or supporting UPS, power distribution system and cooling based on site.
The application knowledge of power distribution system in data center.
Electrical installation methods, practices, and the HK Electrical Regulation
Field troubleshooting methods and equipment
Must be able to make technical proposal presentations to customers and consulting engineers.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
Technical interpretation, communication skills.
Experienced CAD skill.

Nice To Haves

Better if also familiar with both power supply products and cooling and their applications.

Responsibilities

Responsible for effective supporting the sales activities of Eaton sales team of PQ for getting the sales revenue goal in CPS Hongkong & Macau.
Responsible for providing the professional technical response for Eaton UPS, Eaton Solution product series and Solution of Datacenter including but not be limited to PD product, cooling, MDC (Micro data center), PDU, STS (static transfer Switch) etc.
Keep cooperate and support perfectly with PLM team, RD team, HK PMO team, HK Service team etc.
Responsibility for pre-sales technical support & expertise in implementation of customer applications associated with UPS system, power distribution system, cooling, perhaps also including the other PQ manufactured products etc.
Efforts include preparation, participation and/or presentation of seminars to customers and consultants,
Providing the solution and the bidding document, etc.
Examines customer requirements in terms of equipment and documentation
Provides technical review of orders.
Recommends best cost-effective configuration to meet technical requirements.
Support sales staff in assessing potential applications of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications.
Effectively interface with customers, sales staff, consultants, and contractors to support requirements
Know about and trace the technology developments of main competitors.
Support and complete all technology training activities for sales team, distributors and customer as the speaker.
Supervising and managing the project onsite as a PM role when business needs.
