About The Position

Support and execute purchasing projects across the product development, supplier transition, and change management lifecycle. Coordinate stakeholders, suppliers, milestones, and change requests while building technical and project-management capabilities. Responsible for managing assigned projects and workstreams with guidance, maintaining accurate project information, identifying risks, and supporting the successful delivery of quality, cost, delivery, and timing objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized project management, including prioritization, risk assessment, resource and milestone management, cost awareness, and communication of key takeaways.
  • Ability to lead design and manufacturing reviews and facilitate technical dialogue with engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Ability to influence peers and stakeholders while working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relationship building, self-motivation, organization, interpersonal communication, and written communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of TS16949, APQP, and PPAP processes is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings to identify risks, opportunities, and technical requirements is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter or comparable product lifecycle tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability to break down issues, evaluate options, and drive effective solutions.
  • Minimal project management experience in purchasing, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related cross-functional environment, is preferred.
  • Internship, co-op, rotational, or early-career project experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects that execute effective global category sourcing strategies.
  • Drive the productivity pipeline for assigned projects, including execution, impact tracking, and accurate timeline milestones within project-management systems.
  • Drive supplier transition project teams and coordinate internal requirements so approved supplier parts meet timing and milestone expectations.
  • Lead Technical Review to PPAP with cross-functional and supplier teams, including feasibility agreement and supplier PPAP submission and approval.
  • Establish a structured supplier touchpoint cadence to maintain visibility, alignment, and timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in effective manufacturing changeovers, including inventory bank builds, tooling transfers, and supplier PPAPs.
  • Own assigned change requests from kickoff through closure and follow up with responsible individuals to drive completion.
