About The Position

The Project Lead is responsible for confirming, finalizing, and implementing the Client’s Data Integration Plan and performing all tasks and activities detailed in the Plan. The Project Lead will execute assigned work in response to Task Lists, provide ongoing coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders, manage configuration activities for the PCard Works application, and produce all required documentation and reports in accordance with established schedules and standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related IT and business/industry work experience.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience ensuring the quality and timely completion of projects or services.
  • Experience providing technical and subject matter expertise in fulfillment of Customer Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Experience participating as a senior team member providing high-level consulting services.
  • Experience planning, organizing, and executing tasks for successful delivery of projects or services.
  • Experience developing and defining strategic visions.
  • Experience providing Customer interface support in fulfillment of Customer SOWs.
  • Experience possessing authority and responsibility for the execution of Customer SOWs.
  • Experience planning, organizing, and overseeing all subordinate work efforts.
  • Experience confirming quality standards and work performance on Customer SOWs.
  • Experience applying administrative, consultative, and technical expertise in fulfillment of Customer SOWs.
  • Experience applying a broad set of management skills and technical expertise as a project leader.
  • Experience providing solutions through analysis.
  • Experience directing subordinates in the completion of task orders.
  • Experience organizing, directing, and managing support services.
  • Experience assigning tasks and overseeing projects or other services under Customer SOWs.
  • Experience providing communications support for training, agency engagements, and information sharing with stakeholders.
  • Experience with Change Management techniques.
  • Experience completing testing of proposed solutions as implemented.
  • Experience working through testing defects.
  • Experience reporting and understanding retesting requirements.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with document management, groupware, relational database systems, data warehouses and data mining, web development, and systems analysis/development

  • Experience training Customer personnel through formal classroom courses, workshops, or seminars

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and perform services in accordance with Task Lists, completing assignments as requested by the Department’s Contract Manager.
  • Confirm, finalize, and implement the Client’s Data Integration Plan, including performing all tasks and activities detailed in the Plan.
  • Adjust any updates and deadlines, task parameters, and scope as communicated in writing by the Contract Manager and reflected in task work orders.
  • Be available during working hours to meet with one or more of the following parties, as required: The Division Department of Management Services (DMS) Client’s team and Client stakeholders
  • Work onsite during critical times, as required, with onsite work planned at least two weeks in advance.
  • Coordinate all configuration changes to the PCard Works application user screens.
  • Validate all necessary changes to cardholder profiles, default chart of accounts (COA) values, and custom reports.
  • Coordinate written and verbal communications to external stakeholders in the following formats: Written communications, including but not limited to emails, project plans, and interactive documents User Manual updates Workshops Training
  • Prepare and submit a weekly Status Report detailing: The status of tasks The level of service provided to Department staff The projected completion date for each assigned task Submit the Status Report weekly to the Contract Manager on the day specified by the Contract Manager.
  • Prepare and submit Time Reports detailing: The tasks worked on each day The hours spent on each task Submit Time Reports to the Contract Manager via the Division Time Log no later than the 5th day of the month following the month for which the total hours worked are being submitted.
  • Support invoicing in one-hour increments at the fixed hourly rate specified in the purchase order.
  • Develop and maintain Technical Documentation evidencing that all work performed complies with the Division’s and the Department’s policies, procedures, and technical standards provided by the Contract Manager.
  • Ensure that Technical Documentation facilitates transfer of knowledge to Department staff necessary to maintain any strategies, plans, organizational information, Contractor relationships, and solutions that the Project Lead has developed or worked on.
  • Complete Technical Documentation within the response time specified by the Contract Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
