About The Position

As Project Lead, Sustaining Capital Projects, you will play a key role in delivering the infrastructure that supports safe, reliable, and sustainable mining operations at Red Chris Mine. Through strong project leadership, contractor management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, you will help execute capital projects that improve operational performance and support the site's future growth. Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
  • 5–10 years of experience delivering mining, construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary projects through execution and completion.
  • Working knowledge of project controls, scheduling, contractor management, and risk management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, remote FIFO mining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sustaining capital projects from planning through execution and close-out.
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and reporting activities.
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support contract administration, change management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor project performance, quality, and safety.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
