About The Position

The Contractor shall provide financial and grants management support per instructions and established guidelines. Contractor personnel shall have comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations, rules, policies, and procedures. The contractor shall assist in solving complex financial assistance accounting and financial problems, provide thorough analysis from extensive research and compilation of statistics to authorized government personnel, and research, compile statistics, and present data to authorized government personnel. The contractor will prepare concise, unambiguous documents using Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, and Adobe for MFRs, MOUs, and various documents to support the entire lifecycle for financial assistance awards. They will also support price analysis, negotiation, and the appropriate use of funds, and participate in negotiations concerning complex financial assistance awards. Additionally, the contractor will provide financial assistance and guidance on grants and cooperative agreements, review grant applications for compliance with appropriate regulations, and document, record, and administer related performance per the regulations and requirements. This role requires relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, executing first-line responsibilities for projects or functions, and performing various complex tasks with substantial creativity and latitude under general supervision. Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills are essential to build relationships with a wide range of internal and external clients and stakeholders. The role includes executing the final review of completed awards and processing close-out documents.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations, rules, policies, and procedures related to financial assistance and grants management
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of internal and external clients and stakeholders
